Position Information:
The intern will work in the Research and Development Department at Noveome and gain hands-on experience in assay development and validation.
Prerequisites for this position include a background in biochemistry and biological science laboratory methods. Experience with ELISA, Luminex, immunoassays and cell culture experience is desired.
Associate Responsibilities:
- Aseptic technique and proper handling of human tissue/ cell specimens
- Cell-based Assays
- Luminex
- ELISA
- Microscopy
- Laboratory equipment maintenance and record keeping
- Data analysis using Excel
This position is hourly with Monday – Friday work hours. This position can be filled as part-time (20 hours per week) or full-time (up to 40 hours per week). This position is temporary during the late spring and summer months.
